Summary: We did a long weekend getaway to celebrate our son’s high school graduation and could not be more pleased with Sonny’s cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked and super clean. The beds are memory foam and comfortable. The cabin is full of sweet, personalized touches. We did kayaking (Graig Creek has class 2 and 3 rapids) hiked McAfee Knob, had fire pit nights and the kids caped out by the creek.Thank you Sonny! We will certainly be back!

Summary: Booked this property for my parents, my husband and I to stay for an extended period for graduations at both Roanoke College and Virginia Tech. This also allowed for my college aged daughters/ graduates to come visit and sleepover when they could! The property was absolutely amazing-a beautiful home in the woods with a spectacular creek, fire pit, plenty of outdoor space to enjoy friends. The inside of the home was immaculate and so charming! Sonny is an attentive, responsive owner of the property and willing to make your stay so special! I would absolutely recommend this property 100%!! I might not have children still in college here and would definitely come back! Thank you!

Summary: This cabin is amazing and has everything you could want for any season. The owners have done a great job keeping the cozy feel of a rustic cabin, but with all the modern amenities. The small town of New Castle is just down the road and has a surprising amount of food and supply options. The area is perfect for anyone wanting to explore in the woods. Both long treks and short hikes are right around the corner. And if you are looking to just take it easy, the fire pit, creek deck or huge covered outdoor area are all perfect. Could not have asked for a better place to get away with my little family.

Summary: Loved the secluded area close to the creek. Enjoyed the firepit on the chilly evenings. Loved the morning sunrises coming over the hill too. The Cabin was super cozy and full of options for enjoying the great outdoors
